Delete your account
How to delete your Panko: AI Fitness Coach account (com.pankobyte.fitness) and everything stored under it. The app is made by PankoByte.

Delete it yourself, in the app
This is the fastest route and it needs nobody's help. Deletion runs on your own device and finishes in under a minute.
- Open Panko and sign in, if you are not already.
- Go to the Settings tab.
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account.
- Prove it is you. If you signed up with an email address, retype your password. If you signed in with Google or Apple, confirm in their sheet.
- Confirm. A progress screen names each thing as it goes. Do not close the app while it runs.
When it finishes you are signed out and the account no longer exists. There is no waiting period and no way to undo it.
If the app is killed or the network drops halfway through, nothing is stranded: the next time you sign in, Panko notices the unfinished deletion and picks up where it stopped.
If you cannot get into the app
Lost the phone, forgot the password, already uninstalled? Email support@pankobyte.com from the address on your account and ask us to delete it. Use the same address, because that is how we know the request is yours. We do it within 30 days and reply when it is done.
What gets deleted
Everything the account owns goes, in this order:
- Your weigh-ins and weight history
- Your food log, and any meals you saved
- Every logged exercise and every workout session, with all sets, reps and weights
- Every workout you built
- Cached coach notes, meaning the written day and week reviews
- Your profile: name, height, weight, sex, age, goals, targets and onboarding answers
- The sign-in itself, so the email address is free to use again
Progress photos were only ever on your phone, so they were never ours to delete. The app removes its own copies during the purge, and uninstalling takes the rest. Photos you exported to your device gallery are ordinary photos now, and stay where you put them.
If you signed in with Apple, Panko also revokes the Apple token, which drops it out of the Sign in with Apple list in your iOS settings.
What stays, and for how long
Three things outlive the account. Here is each one and why.
AI usage counters
The per-day count of AI actions is held apart from your profile and expires on its own within 48 hours. It holds numbers and dates, not the content of anything you asked.
Crash reports
Release builds send crash reports to Firebase Crashlytics: a stack trace, the device model, the OS version and the app version. They are not filed under your account and cannot be traced back to it, so deleting the account does not reach them. Firebase discards them after 90 days.
Purchase records
If you bought a Panko subscription, the record of that purchase sits with Google Play or Apple, and with RevenueCat, which we use to check whether a subscription is active. Those are billing records and tax records. We cannot delete them and neither can you. Your card details were never ours in the first place.
Emails you send us stay in our mailbox as ordinary correspondence. Ask and we will delete the thread.
Delete data without deleting your account
Closing the account is not the only way to get rid of something. Every record Panko keeps can be deleted on its own, from inside the app, while the account stays open. Each one asks you to confirm, and then it is gone for good.
- A meal, or a whole day of food: the Food tab for today, or any past day in the calendar
- A weigh-in: the weight card on your profile, or the day you logged it in the calendar
- A finished workout, with every set, rep and weight in it: the Workout tab, or the day it happened in the calendar
- A workout you built: open it and delete it
- A progress photo: the photo log, which only ever lived on your phone in the first place
You can also just ask Coach Panko. Deleting a meal from yesterday, a weigh-in or a logged session all work by asking.
None of this touches the account itself. You stay signed in, and anything you did not delete stays exactly where it was.
Cancel your subscription first
Deleting your Panko account does not cancel a paid subscription, because the subscription belongs to your Google or Apple account, not to your Panko one. Cancel it before you delete, or you will keep being billed for an app you no longer have.
On Android: Play Store, then Subscriptions. On iPhone: Settings, then your Apple ID, then Subscriptions.
